On Nov. 24, 2025, the Indonesian scholar, Dr. Putri Widyanti Harlina visited the Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint Research and Development Center to conduct project research and exchange. Professor Xiang Leiwen, the Director of the R&D Center, and Dr. Yang Bowen extended a warm welcome to Dr. Putri Widyanti Harlina.

During the research symposium, Prof. Xiang introduced the latest developments at the School of Food and Biological Engineering and Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint R&D Center. He expressed hope that establishing a cooperative relationship between the two universities to facilitate the creation of exchange, collaboration, and joint training mechanisms for food science students, as well as exchange, collaboration, and cooperation mechanisms for faculty members. This partnership aims to conduct joint research on the development and utilization of Indonesia’s local specialty resources, promote collaboration among scholars with similar research interests, and further strengthen cooperation with local enterprises on both sides.

Dr. Putri Widyanti Harlina expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the R&D Center. She emphasized the desire to build upon prior research collaborations by integrating both parties’ strengths to expand joint research outcomes, deepen cooperation across fields, and achieve mutual development.
