Broadening Horizons to Foster Development, Mutual Exchange for Shared Advancement: Faculty Members Actively Participate in Multiple Academic Conferences

To keep abreast of cutting-edge academic developments and advance both disciplinary construction and faculty professional growth, the School of Food Science and Biotechnology actively organized the teaching staff to participate in several key academic conferences between 17th and 22nd October 2025, which includes the 2025 National Academic Annual Conference of Packaging and Food Engineering & Agricultural Product Processing, the ‘Oasis in Silk Road, Intelligence in the Future’ Youth Forum, and the “Four-Chain Integration: Practice-Oriented Collaborative Education Mechanism Paradigm – School of Industry-education Integration Deans Forum. Faculty members including Shi Yuande, Huang Xiaozhou, Cai Jiannan, Deng Jiacong, and Huang Dihui exchanged ideas across various academic platforms, showcasing the School’s proactive spirit in research.

These academic conferences spanned multiple disciplinary domains, including agricultural product processing science, food packaging and safety, new materials and green chemical engineering, artificial intelligence and equipment, and the development of School of Industry-education Integration. During these events, participating academics listened to authoritative presentations and engaged in in-depth exchanges with experts and peers. Through attendance, teachers broadened their horizons, updated their knowledge, and brought fresh perspectives back into research endeavors. These engagements also strengthened the college’s external connections, bolstered disciplinary development and talent cultivation, and propelled the college’s research advancement towards new heights.
