To further improve the scientific research level of the teachers of the School and to guide and encourage them to actively apply for the National Natural Science Foundation (NNSF) projects. The School invited Professor Li Jianrong of Bohai University to carry out a lecture on "How to Improve the Success Rate of National Natural Science Foundation Application" in the afternoon of 28th December in the Library Lecture Hall. The lecture was hosted by Professor Xiang Leiwen, Director of the R&D Centre, and some teachers of the Centre attended the lecture.

In this lecture, Prof. Li gave us an in-depth analysis of the methods to improve the success rate of NNSF applications. He explained the whole process of NNSF application in detail from three aspects: pre-application preparation, key points of writing a high-quality application, and post-application work. At the same time, he also gave a brief introduction to the information on the fund and the precautions to be taken during the application process, and especially emphasized the possible misunderstandings in application writing.

After the lecture, Prof. Li had an exchange discussion with the teachers, answered the questions of the teachers present about the application program and provided targeted guidance. The lecture was very beneficial, not only deepening the understanding of the fund application, but also laying a solid foundation for the cultivation and future development of excellent teachers.
