On the morning of April 17, FPNU held an online meeting with IPMI International Business School in Jakarta, Indonesia, to discuss the joint establishment of an overseas vocational skills training center to serve the China-Indonesia “Two Countries, Twin Parks” project. Professor Aman, President of the International Union of Food Science and Technology and IPMI International Business School, Professor Maruf, Vice President in charge of academic affairs, and Professor Loekman, Vice President in charge of international cooperation and exchange, participated in the meeting online. FPNU’s attendees included Professor Jiang Xingshan, Vice President of the University and Deputy Head of FPNU’s Task Force for the bilateral “Two Countries, Twin Parks” project between China and Indonesia, heads of FPNU’s Party and Government Office and Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and members of the Task Force.
At the meeting, the person in charge of the Task Force Office introduced the cooperation between FPNU and Indonesian universities including IPMI International Business School since 2021, the work carried out in serving the China-Indonesia “Two-countries, Twin Parks" project and future development plan, and proposed the basic idea for the establishment of an overseas vocational skills training center in cooperation with IPMI International Business School.
President Aman expressed his great pleasure in FPNU’s choosing IPMI International Business School as its partner. He pointed out that the two universities have been maintaining good cooperation and interaction, and the establishment of the center will further deepen the cooperation. Also, he introduced IPMI International Business School’s faculty, teaching space, and accommodation in detail, and said that its schooling conditions can better support the center’s establishment.
Vice President Jiang Xingshan expressed his gratitude to IPMI International Business School for its support to FPNU. He said that FPNU will further fully roots itself in Fujian Province’s Science and Technology Innovation Platform for “One Belt, One Road” Foreign Cooperation, i.e., the Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint Research and Development Center, China-Indonesia Industrial Cooperation Research Center and Indonesian language the undergraduate program and other educational resources. With the rooting, it aims to seek support from all parties, conduct multi-channel research and comprehend the needs of the enterprises engaged in the “Two Countries, Twin Parks” project, carefully study and propose a practical plan for the construction of an overseas vocational skills training center together with the IPMI International Business School, and promote the early establishment of the center, to better serve the bilateral project.
