From April 7 to 9, 2023 Aquatic Products Processing and Comprehensive Utilization Academic Conference was held in Xiamen, Prof. Xiang Leiwen, Director of R&D Center, and Prof. Chen Wentao were invited to attend the conference.
The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Fisheries, with the theme of “adopting the ‘Greater Food’ approach to promote the green development of aquatic products processing”. Over 600 guest representatives from universities, research institutes and enterprises across China participated in the conference. Five experts and scholars, including Professor Xie Jing from Shanghai Ocean University, Professor Li Jianrong from Bohai University, Professor Tu Zongcai from Jiangxi Normal University, Professor Mao Xiangzhao from China Ocean University and Professor Chen Quansheng from Jimei University, were invited to give reports on relevant topics, focusing on aquatic products preservation and processing, aquatic products nutrition and health, aquatic products quality and safety, high value and comprehensive utilization of aquatic products, aquatic products processing equipment innovation and new product development, etc. In addition, more than 70 experts and 130 postgraduates from more than 20 universities and research institutes made oral presentations and poster exchanges.
