On December 16, 2022, the awarding ceremony for the twelfth batch of expert workstation in Fuzhou City was held in the conference hall of Fuqing Science and Technology Association. Fujian Yuguan Foods Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Yuguan Foods) was awarded Fuzhou Expert Workstation, and Professor Xiang Leiwen, director of the R&D Center, was invited to serve as the leading expert of the workstation.
At present, the expert workstation has an area of more than 500 square meters, which provides basic conditions and strong guarantee for experts’ research and development work.
The expert workstation is a powerful practice of innovation-driven development strategy. Since its establishment, Prof. Xiang’s team has carried out in-depth cooperation with Yuguan Foods in four aspects: strategic planning, cooperation in tackling key problems, transformation of achievements and personnel training, successfully developed sausages with local flavor, conducted the project of Research on the Influence of Oat Polysaccharide-Protein Complex on the Quality of Surimi Products and Its Application,and applied for 19 invention patents. Through production-learning-research cooperation, the workstation has solved practical problems in technological innovation, trained high-level technical talents for enterprises, promoted the industrialization of scientific research results, cultivated the R&D team, improved the core competitiveness of enterprises, and gained both economic and social benefits.
