The selection results for the 2025 Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Plan Programs have recently been officially announced, with five faculty members from the R&D Centre securing project approvals. Among them, Associate Professor Lu Xiaodan (Program Title: Efficient Preparation of Fish Bladder Oligopeptides and Development of Anti-Fatigue Functional Solid Beverages) received funding for a Guiding Program of Provincial Science and Technology Plan. Associate Professor Shi Yuande (Program Title: Construction of Trace Amount Fe/Ni In-situ Doped MOF Heterogeneous Interfaces and its Sensitisation Mechanism for Phenolic Electrochemical Sensing), Senior Laboratory Technician Zheng Hong (Program Title: Study on the Biomineralisation Mechanism of Aquatic Fibrobacter S9 Using Polysaccharide Chains as Nucleation Templates), and Associate Professor Gao Xiong (Program Title: Immunological Mechanism of Selenium-Enriched Cordyceps Militaris Polysaccharides in Reshaping TAMs Phenotype to Combat Colorectal Cancer), and Associate Professor Yang Bowen (Program Title: Research on Targeted Regulation of Sustained-Release Mechanism of Lipid Crystals and Free Sterols in the Gut based on their Interaction) have been approved for funding under the Provincial Natural Science Foundation General Programs.
