From 23 to 25 April, the 2025 International Forum on Food Safety and Health (thereafter referred to as 2025 IFoFSH) was held in Beijing jointly by the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) and the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST). Professor Rao Pingfan, Director of the Academic Committee of R&D Centre, and Professor Aman, Deputy Director of it, were invited to attend the forum.

Under the theme of "Technology Empowerment Leading a New Transformation in Food Safety and Health", the forum focuses on the application of emerging technologies, mining of new resources, breakthroughs in food standard code, and cross-disciplinary integration in the field of international food safety and health. In addition to the ten keynote speeches, the organizer have also set up eight special topic meetings in which personnel that attended includes Chairman of the CIFST, Academician Sun Baoguo; researcher Chen Junshi, General Advisor of the China National Centre for Food Safety Risk Assessment; academician Chen Runsheng of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS); Zhu Yongguan, Vice-President of the International Science Council (ISC) and academician of the CAS; academician Chen Jian and Shan Yang of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; and Professor Samuel Godefroy, President of the IUFoST, former President Prof. Aman Wirakartakusumah (Deputy Director of the Academic Committee of the R&D Centre of FPNU); Ali Badarneh, Chief of the Food Security and Food Systems Division at UNIDO; Patrick Wall, Senior Advisor of European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), more than 100 experts from various fields of food at home and abroad made presentations and exchanges in order to explore the issues of the times in the field of food safety and health from the perspective of technological innovation, industrial integration, management change and other dimensions.
