In January 2022, Prof. Xiang Leiwen and Prof. Chen Wentao, the directors of R&D Centre, cooperated with Fujian Zhongyi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to launch the project of “Research on Key Technology of Efficient Extraction and Utilization of Cinnamomum Camphor”, which has made technological breakthroughs in the laboratory stage, and overcome a series of technical difficulties on aspects such as raw material sources, process parameters, operability that emerged in the process of transformation and industrialization of experimental results. The project was successfully completed in June 2023. The sales of eucalyptus oil brought about 10 million CNY for the Zhongyi Pharmaceutical, accounting for 10% of the company’s sales, and the project has successfully achieved industrialization!
