On the afternoon of March 13, 2024, the Academic Committee of Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint R&D Center was held in the first conference room of Linlianxing Science and Technology Building of Fujian Polytechnic Normal University. Jiang Xingshan, Vice President of FPNU, members of the Academic Committee of the R&D Center, heads of enterprise sub-centers, faculties of the R&D Center and others attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Jiang firstly made a speech to warmly welcome the members of the Academic Committee of the Joint R&D Center. He said that the Academic Committee is the think tank and decision-making body of the Center, and the deep attainments and rich experience of experts in the field of marine food will provide valuable guidance and advice for our work, and he believed that under the joint efforts, the Fujian Province - Indonesia Marine Food Joint R & D Center will certainly be able to achieve even more brilliant achievements, and the university will also take this opportunity to focus on industrial needs, strengthen resource integration, deepen cooperation between industry, academia, research and application, accelerate the launch of a number of landmark scientific research results, and promote the transfer of results, with an aim to better serve the development of Fujian's marine economy and the food industry, and contribute to the all-round advancement of quality development.

Then Prof. Xiang Leiwen, Vice Dean of School of Food and Bioengineering and Director of the R&D Center, briefly introduced the development of the School of Food and Bioengineering and the construction of the Fujian-Indonesia Marine Food Joint R&D Center. Afterwards, there was an in-depth discussion on the future development of the R&D center, cooperation mode, innovative technology and how to develop the R&D center into a higher education discipline innovation and intelligence base (111 base).
