In order to further improve the scientific research level of the School of Food and Bioengineering, promote the construction of high-level disciplines and cultivation of advanced talents, and enhance the success rate of applications for National Natural Science Foundation of China (NFSC), the School invited Zheng Baodong, Vice President of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, and other experts to hold an Expert Guidance Meeting on the Construction of Cultivation Base for Masters in Biology and Medicine and on Application for NFSC in 2023 in the afternoon of February 23, 2023 in the comprehensive conference room of Science Building. The meeting was presided over by Prof. Ye Ruihong, Dean of the School, and Prof. Xiang Leiwen, Administrative Head of the School and Director of the R&D Center, gave a report on the construction of the cultivation base. Wang Changwei and Yang Wensen, Director and Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Office, and some teachers of the R&D Center participated in this meeting.
At the meeting, Vice President Zheng gave detailed guidance and experience sharing on cultivation base construction from various aspects such as platform building of disciplinary construction, importance of talent training, direction and qualification required to enroll postgraduates, etc. Meanwhile, various experts also gave interpretation and guidance to our teachers who apply for NFSC.
