Professor Lin Hong of Ocean University of China Was Invited to the Fujian Province-Indonesia Marine Food Joint R&D Center to Give Lectures and Make Exchanges

On the morning of May 24, 2022, Lin Hong, professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Food Science and Engineering of Ocean University of China, was invited to give lectures and exchanges in the R&D Center. Lai Hairong, Secretary of the Party Committee of FPNU, cordially met with Professor Lin. Chen Xiaopin, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Fuqing Municipal Party Committee, Shi Jie, general manager of Saneheld (Fuqing) Food Co., Ltd., and representative member of the R&D Center attended the event.

The academic lecture was hosted by Professor Xiang Leiwen, director of the R&D Center. Professor Lin Hong gave an academic lecture entitled "The Development of and Thinking on China's Marine Industry". He analyzed China's seafood market, listed a series of research data, clearly pointed out that China's seafood utilization rate is generally low, and put forward his own solutions, which provided ideas for the R&D center to strengthen the integrated innovation of marine food processing technology.

Professor Lin Hong and his company also visited Fujian Yuguan Foods Co., Ltd. and Saneheld (Fuqing) Food Co., Ltd., the internship training bases of FPNU. The two sides had close exchanges on topics such as "Food Processing, Scientific and Technological Innovation".
