Professor Leiwen Xiang, Director of R&D Centre, was invited to attend the 7th International Conference on Food and Health 2024, which was held in Fuzhou, China from 5 to 7 December 2024, and gave a presentation.

The 7th International Conference on Food and Health 2024 is hosted by Fuzhou University, and organized by the College of Biological Sciences and Engineering of Fuzhou University and Fujian Engineering Research Centre for Green Manufacturing of Marine Biological Products. There are six sessions, including Forum on High Quality Development of Food and Biological Sciences, Academician and Expert Theme Report, International Eminent Scholars Forum, Keynote Speech, Forum on Teaching and Accreditation of Engineering Education and International Youth Forum. Experts and scholars from China, New Zealand, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, Singapore and other countries gathered together to discuss the new developments in the academic frontiers of food science and nutritional health, the integration of industry and education in the food and health industry and the new path of high-quality development, and the construction of a food and health science and technology innovation ecosystem that can empower the new mission of “Healthy China”.
