Currently, more than 2 billion people worldwide still lack access to safe and nutritious food. Given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic since the inception of 2020, it is of essential importance to ensure that all segments of society have access to safe and nutritious food.
October 16th is World Food Day. This year, the festival was themed "Action for the Future - Better Production, Better Nutrition, Better Environment and Better Life". To achieve this, all parties need to play their part in the field of food by grounding on the principle of sustainability.
China is a country with a large population and a major grain producer. China’s success in feeding about 18.6% of the world's total population with less than half of the world's arable land lies in its well-developed grain planting and food processing industries. China and Indonesia have similar national conditions and a long history of friendly relations. This webinar will help promote scientific research and cultural exchanges between the two sides, advance the smooth development of China- Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" project, and contribute to their cooperation and exchanges.
